As a christian I struggle to find songs that are pure hearted, everything is tainted with men's sinful ways. But even if Matisyahu isn't christian I love that he stays away from the things that are deemed as normal nowadays. His songs are a positive influence in this world. I pray God blesses him and guides him in Jesus name.
I was depressed since 15y to 21y and took refuge in drugs, alcohol and relationships, but Jesus healed me and showed me the way. I used to listen to Matisyahu then and I still do now at 25. You know a band is good when that doesn't change. Much love to you all

@I Killed Darnell Simmons I don't comprehend all of God's decisions. I just got tired of feeling empty and depressed and came to Him for help and He accepted me and changed my life. We are only His creation. We don't have enough brain power to understand all of His ways. In the end of the day it's up to us if we want to suffer holding on to our point of view, or let go, trust Him and be free and happy.
