Mathis, Johnny - How High The Moon Lyrics

Somewhere there's music
How faint the tune
Somewhere there's heaven
How high the moon
There is no moon above
When love is far away too
Till it comes true
That you love me as I love you

Somewhere there's music
How near, how far
Somewhere there's heaven
Its where you are
The darkest night would shine
If you would come to me soon
Until you will, how still my heart
How high the moon

Somewhere there's music
How faint the tune
Somewhere there's heaven
How high the moon
The darkest night would shine
If you would come to me soon
Until you will, how still my heart
How high the moon

I had this album, but this was from 1960, and it was originally a hit for Les Paul & Mary Ford in 1950. Glenn Osser did the arrangement, and Mitch Miller produced this one. This was the same producer and arranger for Van McCoy debut album “Night Time Is Lonely Time” which came out 6 years later and remade this one. Take a listen to his version from his album.
