Brann Dailor and Troy Sanders are so tight it's just unbelievable.

It's especially great since Brann has stated before in interviews (iirc) that he, in a but of difference from most drummers, usually follows along with the guitars, not the bass. Like listen closely to some of the Blood Mountain stuff, he's playing with the guitar riffs pretty often it seems like. But of course, that's not to say he just ignores his role as the drummer or anything, just that it's an aspect of his crazy playing, and that he and Troy keep it on lock, indeed

Can someone please tell me where you can hear a Cello in this song? Mastodon tells us there is one but I can't hear it.

It's probably doubling the bass. So hard to isolate but makes it sound bigger.

It's in line with the bass, put headphones in and listen for that rough bass line under the guitar, but right up with the drums. Hard to pinpoint but you can hear it more in the second half of the song.

The last note he sings just goes on forever.. it's amazing.
