I am so sad about Masterplan's path post-Aeronautics. This was one of the most fucking awesome power metal bands of our time.
Now all that I can hear is Grapow's ego screaming, on and on. :(

I read the track listing and the only thing that sounds really disappointing about this album project is that there's nothing from Better Than Raw.

So i understand now....the true helloween essence was Roland Grapow !!!
This sound i like more then the new line-up mostly the last album is
garbage no helloween style,no nothing it would be better if Roland get
back and bring back the old vibes. I give all my respect for masterplan
an for mister Grapow !

I don't understand why some piss on:

1. Roland talk about this since 2 years, before the Helloween new era (they are now really really really best friends than ever). I think he's probably the most honest in the piece of shit that Helloween is.
2. He record only his Helloween songs. If he needed money, he should recorded the classics, no?
3. This one & The chance sound great and i think the whole band do a great job.
4. Even, Uli missed really. Hope he will be back one day.

Honestly, what's the point in this release? I don't think Grapow needs to prove himself to anyone and even if that's the case, a killer new album would be a better way to do that. It's been too long since Novum Initium and this just seems as an attempt to take advantage of Helloween's reunion publicity. Stick to your own way, which if you ask me, is better anyway than anything from Helloween's post-Dark Ride era. Just my opinion. Having said that, the song remains awesome even after all these years.

Yes! I miss him even in Helloween. They should bring back Uli and take Roy Z as producer and partner to write some songs, like they did on "Aeronautics"...

Grapow can do whatever he wants to do with the songs he wrote.
As a fan, it is really cool to have these new versions of the old Helloween songs. Kiske did it with PAST IN DIFFERENT WAYS and it is awesome.
When it's good, the more the better!!!!

Of course he can do whatever he wants with his songs and he's definitely not going to ask me :) I also can express my concern as a fan myself. But if you think it's really cool it's perfectly fine! Actually, even though I don't agree, I hope this move will be successful so they can have the resources to record a new album soon!

I don't think this is really taking away from any 'proper' album projects in the future. Remember that cover albums are way easier since the songs are already written. I like cover albums, so I think it's an interesting idea to do a disc full of Helloween songs.

Crap so they havn't made a new soundtrack yet, I liked most of Novum but.... feck it's 2017!
