My grandmother is in late stage Alzheimer's... There has been nothing more painful than watching this woman I love. Who practically raised me just disappear. I remember the day she forgot me. I just walked in and I was like a stranger. She's not even her anymore. This woman who was so strong, my inspiration, and always smiling. She just isn't there anymore. This song just hit so close to home.. .

This song is still relevant today. Beautiful song. Meaningful in its own way.
