This is one of those songs from which could be considered the best era of music. May artists have made cover versions but the depth of the words/rhythm shines through no matter who sings it. .You cannot help but move to the music/words

We saw Martina sing this song in Milwaukee last night. This lady never ages and her voice keeps getting better. The guys and gals in her band really help make it a spectacular show.

Van Morrison does a fantastic version. The originals is tops!

Overall, this is still a great duet, but Martina McBride isn't a soul singer like Gavin DeGraw. Sam Cooke is the original, but I don't know if he's the best. Aretha Franklin does an amazing version. American Idol Laine Hardy has a better tone.
