Although I like the studio recording of this the best, I like this version. Unlike many singers of that day, he does not appear to be just lip-synching from the record. This actually sounds like a version recorded right on that show.

Deans ability to sell country music in a hip contemporary way served him well and exceeded Franks popularity at the time. Frank was a better singer perhaps but Dean a more popular entertainer. Love them both

Same here i deal with choric pain everyday, when i am really hurting i find my favorite Dean Martin video and that erase my pain a lot. I get a big smile on my face and start laughing at some of his silliness. Just love the king of cool.

The first time I was 8 years old (1967), at the Racetrack in California, with my grandfather.
The last time was 1986, in Vegas, at a show he was doing at one of the Hotels.  :)

still loved life. After the tragic death of his son, he pretty much
gave up on life. Sad how he declined from that point on.
