Marshall Tucker Band, The - Everyday (I Have The Blues) Lyrics

Everyday, everyday I have the blues
Ooh everyday, everyday I have the blues
When you see me worryin' baby, yeah, it's you I hate to lose
Whoa, nobody loves me, nobody seems to care
Whoa, nobody loves me, nobody seems to care
Well worries and trouble darling, babe you know I've had my share
Everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday,
Everyday, everyday I have the blues
When you see me worryin' baby, yeah, it's you I hate to lose
Whoa nobody loves me, nobody seems to care
Whoa nobody loves me, nobody seems to care
Well worries and trouble darling, babe you know I've had my share

We used to go see them when they were called The Toy Factory in a bar in Spartanburg, SC called The Sitar. Toy would come out in between their sets and play the acoustic guitar by himself. They were awesome then and remained that way for some time.

Hello my old friend song, thanks for posting. This is the only version anyone needs to hear, Toy's on fire! I hear Alvin Lee, Dicky Betts and Rory Gallagher in this solo. Grew up on this LP...again, thanks you for posting. This is the BEST version of this song. 12 dislike? WTF!

    Marshall tucker live

  16. J.... H....

This song in my opinion was by far one of the best blues jams ever recorded in modern music history and allows the Marshall Tucker Band to reign supreme as a modern legend from. the south belt to Philadelphia-pa only paying homage to the best of the best...and deservedly so, thanks again for this contribution to my new library-

    J.... H....

I love Toy so much, I cry when I think about him

  17. D.... R....

ranks among one of the best live albums of all time...RIP Toy....[footnote]...Can'T You See was listed as being on this album, but was not?

  18. T.... L....

Now, imagine seeing these guys and the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band along with Wet Willie here in Nashville back in the early 70's jammin' seperately, and then all together at the annual CDB Volunteer Jam(s)..aahhh, memories of better days and better music..There's a helluva jam "southern style" in rock n roll heaven folks!! RIP all you freebirds...Peace my frynds, TL 2015

  22. 1.... ....

I bought MTB's first LP right when it was released. Living in Louisiana in the 70's I saw Tucker as opener and then headliner. Just a great band and RIP the late great Toy Caldwell.

  23. J.... P....

so damm good I could cry

  24. D.... P....

Love this but for some reason this cut has been sped up a bit. They played it in G. This is G#. I guess someone's turntable was a little too fast. Oh well. Great anyway.

    D.... P....

Good ear, Your right, it took me forever to learn to play and the tempo is definitely fast, but still awesome, I remember when this actually got played on the radio (FM) 73 I think?
Yes I'm older, but at least I got to see them at least a half dozen times

    D.... P....

Actually this song was played live in the right guitar key G not G sharp-- I'm a guitarist myself this song was written in the key of G

  25. M.... E....

One of the BEST LIVE albums of all time!

    M.... E....

    THE BEST, MY FAVORITE ANYWAY.

  26. T.... P....

If you are just discovering this in 2013, where the heck have you been?

MTB put up some good music.

I been waking up people at 3:30am, Sunday mornings coming home from bars and needing to hear this for decades!

  30. g.... ....

    Hell yeah...awesome !

  31. F.... A....

This cut right here can be compared to Duane's solo cut on Live at Fillmore You Don't Love me.But never got the airplay on the FM radio staions!!!! Still wonderful though!!!

    F.... A....

You are one dumb fuck! This was wore out on F.M. radio during 1970s as was everything MTB released

  32. F.... A....

i saw them 5 times they were fuckin' great.....awesome...fabulous and any other adjective you won't to paste on them...They were under rated band, just like wet willie and a hand-full of ther southern rockers!!!

    F.... A....

Where are you people from!! MTB has NEVER been underrated! Better yet are idiots even old enough to remember the band at all?!?!

  33. S.... C....

    yes everyday

  34. J.... C....

    supremo

  35. C.... M....

Experienced MTB @ Red Lion Inn on a junket flight to Elko, NV back in the 90s. They were terrific! Got the huge thick advertisement lobby poster from their Roadies and flew back to MO with it carry on.

  36. S.... G....

Saw them in 1974 at Elon Collage NC. They were the front brand for ZZ Top. Greatest concert I've ever been to. Small venue and rock your socks off music.

  37. N.... ....

HOLLY MOLLY. MARSHAL TUCKER BAND is way better then i ever imagined. I knew they had some good songs on the radio... but wow this is one of greatest albums i ever heard its awesome and i just found out about it recently. Im 28 Im sure older people knew how awesome they are beyond CANT YOU SEE. But this stuff is the stuff, what sound thanks for posting.

  38. C.... L....

I saw these guys in Hampton, VA in the 80's right after the first Caldwell brother died - They were incredible!

  39. b.... ....

I have the one with "Can't You See" printed, but not on the albums. Lot's of jamming with only two live songs per album side.

  40. d.... l....

i saw them at the armadillo in 1974...

  41. A.... C....

About 1:45, the jam really starts.

  42. W.... D....

It was 1978 behind Veterans Colliseum in Phoenix AZ me and my friend tried to get Marshall Tucker Band roadies to hire us. "Belch" should remember that.. I must have been a pathetic sight.. skinny long haired Jr high punk. Sure I was more stupid than stoned, but Still wonder to this day what a life that could have been. the MTB brings some of the best memories back.

    W.... D....

Your birth name proves you are a fucking twit! How could you entertain such a thought

  43. A.... M....

    bellissima

  44. A.... D....

    haha..good story..the good old days..gone forever

  45. z.... ....

I had tickets and a date to see them in 1974 (i think) and my date got horribly drunk. I was a gentleman, took her back to her dorm, held her head and never saw her or MTB again.

    z.... ....

Sounds to me like you had pussy in your drawers

  46. 1.... ....

I would have given anything for that venue!!!!

  47. h.... ....

Being a HUGE blues fan, I love this version of Memphis Slim's song!!!! Awesome! I never saw them but had an older cousin that did several times. Wish I did!!! This is one of my fav blues songs.

    h.... ....

i saw them many times, i can't put the feelings in words

  48. r.... p....

What a great live band. I was lucky enough to see them four or five times in their heyday. Toy Caldwell (lead guitar) was one bad mofo on that Les Paul. Sweatin' bullets while he ripped the top of your head off with his intensity. These guys were the real deal. Very versatile and always put on a great show. You left knowing and feeling that you saw something very special and I've been to a shitload of concerts but these guys brought it like a freight train doin' 90 MPH.

  49. C.... R....

I saw this great band twice in Chattanooga,Tn. in the early 70's, have to say probably my favorite live band experiences. Loved their music!

  50. M.... ....

My pops has two versions of this album in vinal. One is a misprint that includes cant you see but isnt on the album and the standard. And i have the extended album with see you later im gone...this whole album is kin to me i swear...proud to be a carolina boy *

  51. t.... ....

You have no idea how Happy it made me to see one of my MTB pictures appear at the 1:00 mark! Glad to be a part of this! Rock on!

  52. R.... S....

    Couldn't have put that better.

  53. M.... F....

The Marshall Tucker Band- South Carolina's answer to Georgia's Allman Brothers. And a fine answer it was!

  54. s.... h....

    yeah they sure were

  55. M.... ....

saw this band in Lawton in the 70's....Way ahead of the times.... :)).

  56. l.... ....

Love it!!! Wish I could see them playing.

  57. r.... ....

I saw the great Marshall Tucker Band in 1975!They did all their great songs and blew me away!!Long haired cowboys playing blues, country and rock=awesome!!! I feel so lucky and privileged to have seen them in their 'heyday'!!! God bless them!!

  58. d.... ....

@5150ortiz The first concert I ever attended was the Allman Bro's, Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker with special guest Joe Walsh at Texas Stadium June 28th 1974 ...a very special time

  59. G.... k....

If you ever had a chance to watch this band live it was totally a blast. If you did not to bad. Must of the band is dead. They where fucking great.
