Rowsdower Mobile they have a roster of some of the most impressive drummers I have ever heard. The sheer power and momentum behind every single song is amazing, and I imagine writing drum parts to Omar’s genius melodies and abstract bridges is a massive challenge in itself!

Let me try to explain this. EQD stands for Equestria Daily and is known as the brony headquarters. In an episode followup that was released there, this song was linked, so that's why there are so many people from EQD here

Not really sure what an EQD is but this is my favorite Mars Volta album. It is the wildest and most chaotic album they have done. Frances the Mute is also dope.

I feel like Storm's art fits their style better than Jeff Jordan. I like Jordan's art, but it doesn't have the same disturbing tone.
With that said, Jordan's willingness to create original paintings themed about the album is nice, giving the cover a more genuine feeling.
And in all honesty, if anyone has seen Storms work for Amputechture, it's awesome and I think they should have picked it instead of the cover they did choose.

The Mars Volta are very much progressive rock, and I get a modernized King Crimson feel with them as well as the original spin put on by the tag team of Omar and Cedric, because I don't think there's a vocalist quite like him anywhere. I wouldn't group Mars Volta in any other category; MAYBE slapping an experimental rock tag on them wouldn't hurt, but they are fundamentally a progressive rock band at heart, while Muse is vastly different - nowhere near prog.

NuProg is an absolutely terrible name for a genre as it is also useless. I don't mind a subgenre here or there that gets to the point, but it's safe to say that - wait a minute, Muse isn't even progressive at all! Muse is a blend of alternative rock with psychedelic/spacey influences.
