Hi Pamfino Just heard this on Golden Years Radio . net and all the 60's music that gets played takes me back to the good old days when I had a rock band called The Presidents. I don't understand why this band didn't become popular here in the states

The band has over 11 hits, but only Reflections of my life has hit the US charts worldwide.
Reflections is one of the most listened songs.

Not everyone can sing in heaven, Dean Ford certainly sings to God.

Great written songs. Loved these songs from a young lad of 8 or 9.Great vocals and harmonies. Not like the rubbish today.

So very sad to see Dean Ford has left the planet. At 72 he deserved a bit longer. Thanks  for the wonderful and melodic songs you have left us. Died 31.12.2018.

Love the old stuff, even though it was too commercial. I know Dean agrees. But it's amazing how old stereo works better than todays stereo.... save the jumps on vinyl!

The fact that we are still listening to it and enjoying it 50 years later rather gives the lie to the idea that it was somehow "too commercial". Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, David Bowie, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Queen, Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Jam, The Buzzcocks, The Smiths . . . . and, er, everyone else were "commercial".

Every Marmalade record I have listened too has been been brilliant, although Reflections of my life,actually gives me goosebumps,is brilliant, Dean Ford you most certainly could sing, and even latest stuff I have heard you do is still as good.

Janet. the 60's were all about the Beatles and the Stones. Laterally groups such as the Kinks have been receiving the credit they deserve but, unfortunately, Marmalade seem to be still awaiting the kudos their talent warrants.

I saw them at age 13 in St Albans where I went to school.  I have been to a lot of concerts since but that was the seminal one.
