Streaming "Anthony Bourdain - Parts Unknown" is like that for me. Drink deeply, savor the flavor, knowing each episode you watch brings you one closer to the end.

Last night I watched the Season 10 final episode. It would be his last while he was alive. I don't know if the producers had a premonition of his passing, but this show finale is the best I've seen. And although it is the very last, its a fitting tribute to what he brought to his audience. As one fan said:

"You fearlessly traveled the world immersing yourself in different cultures, peoples, and their food, showing us that while we have our differences, we are all very much the same. You will be sorely missed by so many. Thanks for letting me come along for the ride".

It's so sad the Clinton's had him killed.

AB should have stayed with me a while ... affected me above anything else! I'd have elicited a smile!

I found Anthony's writing in '99. I met him a few years later while I was photographing him for a story I was working on and invited him to come by a spot I was working in the evenings. He eventually did and filmed an episode of The Layover with some friends of mine. He wrote the way I think, and spoke the way I speak. I have cancer now and I'm writing a book. I hope people see some similarities to your writing in comparison to mine. Thanks for speaking to me in so many ways Anthony.

Not sure why this made me cry. Ive always loved that song and Mark Lanegan. This just feels so human and it's kind of comforting to know that we're not alone in our pain. Everyone has to deal with it.

Altho, thank God this was not the last episode, this has to be the best ending to any network tv show ever. The music, Anthony, the editing, the camera work, and all the behind the scenes people you'll never hear about was way above par. Still can't believe this talented man, who took you to places we'll probably never go, is gone. We can only hope he has found peace.

Tony had been everywhere, travelled enough for many lifetimes but it just goes to show that wherever you go, there you are. He always had a melancholy about him and so sad that he is no longer here with us. Vaya con Dios Tony....you left us too soon.

People keep saying that Tony looked 10 years older in this episode and tired. I didn't see it at first because the episode is so darn good but if you look Anthony does look much older and weary. WTF happened!! Asia Argento?? Problems with the Me Too Movement?? Problems with the show?? Ottavia Busia?? Ariane?? I really miss you and would love to know how such a cool dude meets this kind of end. I guess NO ONE really saw your pain. Not Asia, Not Ottavia, Not Erik Ripert, Not your colleagues at CNN or even your crew. I miss you more than words can express RIP!!!

Anthony Bourdain was one of my favorite chefs, authors and TV personalities. I loved all his shows, Cook's Tour, No Reservations, Parts Unknown et. al. I will miss him greatly and in fact already do. Thanks Tony for exposing me to Mark Lanegan. I now listen to Mark all the time especially this masterpiece "Strange Religion". Anthony you were the coolest guy on the planet. Maybe someday I will understand. For now RIP and I miss you buddy!!

I think I watched this clip fifteen or seventeen times now. But it keeps hittin' me like a big, big rock. Being a Lanegan fan for years and years and being a fan for even longer a fan of Bourdain, this clip is such a big tear jerker for me.
Hope ya guys anderstand me, and kind of feel the same way, and love Lanegan and Bourdain the way I do...

I cried to this after Anthony's passing, I felt like he was sharing an intimate moment with us in that final scene

And he was.

The emotion in the singers voice mixed knowing Anthony is gone really is an intense moment of recorded television.

I allways thought that Tony did not think life was ok. Allways looking for better things, never thinking that he'ld find what he was looking for. But I agree with your sadness, I'll miss Tony for ever and ever.
