That album is so special, maybe not MK's best but ... yeah it has a unique celtic taste, a kind of relief from Dire Straits pressure too.

This song spoke to me and a friend! Unfortunately it was not a happy ever after! One of the most heart string pullings ever! The instrumentals at the end made my heart break! It's exactly how I felt at that moment! Gut wrenching pain! I love the song,but now it makes me cry! Because of it's memories!

I have to agree with Tommy Jackman this song is just so amazing golden heart is an amazing album and the outro solo its just perfection I play and Knopfler is my main influence on electric ive attempted to play this and I did get kinda close but in technique only nobody can recreate the passion and feeling he injects this along with the outro on Planet of New Orleans is surely guitarist heaven?

This really happened to me! Met a girl I knew before after many years, talked and emailed and swapped music late at night. I knew what I felt but not what her feelings were. Finally after an email exchange I came out with it! 'I'm in trouble now' I confessed and to my great surprise she replied 'We are in trouble now'. No happy ending though. life got in the way and now we are just friends!
