I've begun my mandatory army service a few days ago - in the crazy environment that is the military, this song has already been my much needed solace during moments of absolute confusion and full-on self-doubt. Marina really knows how to help you move on during the tough times in your life and this is why L+F is objectively the most mature album of hers. She understands and she wants to give us a helping hand. I could not be more grateful for this.

She's such a strong songwriter but the production on all of her tracks are truly terrible. Absolutely no musicianship. Cookie cutter, basic af.

Depression isn't a teenage illness... it might start there for most but shes 34 and and Im 33 and still struggle with it.. I Love the fact that shes vulnerable to still advocate for this struggle we all go through? about identity and if were good enough (with a mental illness or not).. depression doesnt magically go away has you can see it is recurring in life and in her music.. to hear someone you admire so much speak to your soul like this is comforting for me to know I am not alone and that while I might never get rid of it, that there's comfort and solace with acceptation. ♡

She grew up alot and to hear her sing those words to you when she went through the same path is healing af.
