Manic Street Preachers - Valley Boy Lyrics

Here I am in Amsterdam
I liek it here they speak my language
Even though it's not my own
It's got BBC for comfort zone
And best of all, it's got Marks and Spencers
Equality for the masses never felt better

Some of my dreams, they may have come true
But so have my nightmares which I can't get through

And now i've lost the power to speak
And now i've lost the power to eat
Idle and out of touch in Europe
Nothing's gone and nothing's changed
All that was beofre will still remain
It's too late to learn a new currency

Some of my dreams, they may have come true
But so have my nightmares which i can't get through

This would have been a great closing track for timttmy instead of symm

    S.... H....

Allot of bands don't realise their best songs are the B sides. It's a shame.

ahh Gibson goosebumps...still even after all these years! And the more great tunage JDB belts out...as the chorus says, some of our dreams, they'll always come truuuuuuuuue!

  5. j.... ....

The chorus is a mixture of Pink floyd and Queen i think, and he does sound as equally as good as the great Freddie on the chorus here.

  6. M.... M....

    You're right ! This is a b-side to The Everlasting single :-)

  7. 1.... ....

What is this a b-side to? It sounds TIMTTMY song.

    1.... ....

It's from the same studio as TIMTTMY you can tell.

  8. P.... A....

In your country it should be universally accessible.
In Poland it's quite easily to get this album :)
I bought it 4 years ago when the price was promotive (30 zl = about 6 £) :P
