If ever a cinematic epic would be made on Owain Glyndwr , rather than have a sweeping ,grandiose orchestral score to conclude with the credits rolling , the simplicity of this song would speak volumes.

There's a mistake in the lyrics available on line and copied below - they don't sing "Owain Glyndwr" but "Gwynfor taught our history" (referring to Gwynfor Evans). The point of the song is that Owain got erased from national memory, so he is not mentioned by name in the text.
