Manhattan Transfer, The - Nothin' You Can Do About It Lyrics

It has begun
Nothin' in the world can stop it now
It's in control
We might as well just try to stop the wind
Give up
Give in
You lose
Love will always win
Start surrendering
Stop resisting

Nothin' you can do about it
It's too strong to be denied
Nothin' you can do about it
Relax enjoy the ride

Destiny
We are what fate intended us to be
Can't you see?
We're all a part of some eternal plan
So give up
Give in
You lose
Love will always win
Start surrendering, oh
Stop resisting

Nothin' you can do about it
It's too strong to be denied
Nothin' you can do about it
Relax enjoy the ride

Don't you try to understand it
Leave it as a mystery
It's bigger than the both of us
We're each other's history

Nothin' you can do about it
It's too strong to be denied
Nothin' you can do about it
Relax enjoy the ride

I have the Japanese pressing (released in 1980) of this album.  I've not heard anything better.

    Beautiful tune.

  3. J.... ....

    Great album

  4. C.... ....

I just heard another version of this song for the first time by the band Airplay On SiriusXM Radio last week. I like that version of this song too, but I'll never say which is the better version.
BTW the Airplay version is currently being played on Yacht Rock Radio (SiriusXM Radio Channel 70) throughout the summer!

Airplay's self titled debut album is a treasure. A bit overproduced, but it gave us David Foster and Jay Graydon , the latter sang the song with Airplay. Hearing this version for the first time and actually liking it better than the airplay one. Jay Graydon has produced many albums for Manhattan Transfer, Al Jarreau and many big names from the 70s and 80s. Stellar guitar player.
