The guitar riff is a total plagiarism of the Deep Purple song Dead Or Alive, composed just 3 years before the release of the Malmsteen album Eclipse. Malmsteen is a great guitar player, but he totally lacks in original creativity.

I think thats a bit strong mate!......look Yngwie was a product of the 80s....he was a massive drunk and I reckon the Coke wasn't far behind....his "approved" biography is so not way we want hear but hey.....I'm guessing your as insane as me and a small percentage of guitarists that are "different" because of stuff like colour blindness and dislexia like me and obsess over everything you like and SO realise that Yngwie was lead guitarist for Graham Bonnet and was a massive Purple fan and worshipps beck AND has "far beyond the sun" in various forms that is like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement and you say he's "not great originally" or words to the effect!?

This is why Paul Gilbert is regarded a much more creative player after all these years.
