Magnum - You'll Never Sleep Lyrics
Slow down
Before we both start crying
Yeah, yeah
There will be no denying
Before the first starts flying
Yeah, yeah
You know we're all just dying
Slow down
Before we both start crying
Yeah, yeah
You know they'll all start lying
So for a hundred years there won't be a trace
I never thought these things could happen today
Buried so deep, hidden away
But then the lighting flashed and the thunder, it roared
Everyone said you've been here before
And as the door slammed shut, you're completely ignored
You'll never sleep, you'll sleep no more
I've walked
Yeah, yeah
And all the lights were blinking
I walked
With every step I'm thinking
Yeah, yeah
I heard the children singing
So for a hundred years there won't be a trace
You can't hide, not in this place
I never thought these things could happen today
Buried so deep, hidden away
But then the lighting flashed and the thunder, it roared
Everyone said you've been here before
And as the door slammed shut, you're completely ignored
You'll never sleep, you'll sleep no more
So for a hundred years there won't be a trace
You can't hide, not in this place
I never thought these things could happen today
Buried so deep, hidden away
But then the lighting flashed and the thunder, it roared
Everyone said you've been here before
And as the door slammed shut, you're completely ignored
You'll never sleep, you'll sleep
You'll never sleep, you'll sleep no more

Railway, Curson St, Birmingham. Thursday residency pre - Kingdom Of Madness album,( and after release). They used to try out new (Magnum II) songs on us... and practice their pyro flashes for the bigger gigs! One night Tony shoved a piece of freshly written-on paper in my (H) hand with the lyrics to The Bringer on it to read... and ask our opinions....they played it that night, awesome days. Used to have a game of darts with Kex the drummer in the bar before they went on. The new album is excellent. It got 10/10 in last month's Power Play magazine.
Magnum at their best....
Mark Stanway was in a band with Phil Lynott, all these bands know each other somehow - a weirdly happy thought
Magnum, back to their best; Love this song.
Going to see them (again) in November, can't wait.
SIEMPRE ADELANTE PASE LO QUE PASE, NO IMPORTA LO QUE SUCEDA
