This track is very revealing lyrically, it definitely suggests she gained a truth and wisdom to the world of fame, which is great insight for the naive of us to the pitfalls of fame. The piece has a very powerful message which is very meaningful & deep for us listeners. Somewhat thought & conscious provoking in places. Very beautiful instrumentation also. I suppose the inspiration for this comes from a place of Madonna's experience. It would be great of course if she could create more like this, but I suppose not all decisions about what is put out there is up to her. But knowing "Ray of Light" was a very popular album with the general public shows to record companies this sort of music works and sells. Then maybe they should choose more records/works on this theme like this as it does really resonate with the general public.

I would be immensely grateful if I had the opportunity to personally thank Madonna for this album, especially this song. I feel like this song truly brought me closer to my mom. It reminded me how much my mom loves me and for that and many other things, I'm eternally grateful for my mom. Ray of Light was more than just a musical album -it was a masterpiece and a huge enlightenment. It reminds me how courageous and strong women really are. It reminds me of all the beautiful moms out there that give and give and give and keep giving...even if they aren't noticed or appreciated.
