But agree with the feedback - there is way too much vocal on this album. You are such talented musicians... your fans crave that too.

This was a Robb Flynn solo project with very little input from Phil and Dave. This production is disgusting. I’m a die hard core MH fan and have tattoos and everything but times have changed and it’s time to move on. Sad but true! Have fun being SJWs with Robb. The best parts of MH are gone. My problem with the songs from Catharsis is that they all have the same exact style and sound repetitive as hell. And there are so many riffs that were taken from past songs and slightly modified. Every song sounds like they were written in a day or two and they just rolled with whatever. MH has never been too technical with riffs but they've always had ones that were catchy and were implemented well. This sounds like a jumbled and confused mess even for the good quality. And the music video and lyrics are extremely "meh". Rob's lyrics scream mid-life crisis on most of the Catharsis songs. "Stick your middle finger in the air, fuck this life, live fast die Young" blah blah blah. This band has had so many ups and downs, I'm glad they are split up but I'll always be a fan

Well, they did great for ages but I guess Robb Flynn doesn't...2:45 These bands are stuck in their world for so long that they begin to loose it. They need outsiders to direct them but that never happens, I feel the same with many Bands, Korn, Nonpoint and many others. The artists treat it like any other song and don't understand that the energy and passion is needed. Robb sounded like he was just singing, it sounded like someone who doesn't really care or who is getting old.

This new album actually reminds me of burn my eyes. Thanks Machine head for making proper heavy/thrash metal. So sick of the new CORE stuff. This should be Metal album of the year. And the production is the best Ive heard. Video is shit though, but who cares
