That is the original singer Ronnie's little brother singing. Also guitarist Gary Rossington's wife as well. But you are right, it does stray away a little from what we know as the 'Skynyrd' sound, but that's OK too.

Yup, this Johnny Van Zant and Dale Krantz-Rossington on vocals, recorded in the late 90s I believe. 

It's not Ronnie it is however his brother
