Lydia - Late Nights Lyrics
Well a couple late nights
Hey, a couple foreign films
And I saw that glitter on your eyes still
By the color spilled from the black and white
I was thinking, feeling pretty good tonight
I don't want to keep your heartache
And I don't want to feel your ghost
And I don't even know where we will go
Yeah, I'm just trying to make it home
I watched the trains on the coast, they're moving me
I washed your hands like the wind blowing the breeze
I saw the sky open up your blue and grey
I saw that, I saw that night life running through your veins
(running through your veins)
Well, October, hey, a couple festivals
All I'm saying is tell me what you want to do
Still your head tied up in all the darkest hours
And I told you I'm feeling real good about it
I don't want to keep your heartache
And I don't want to feel your ghost
And I don't even know where we will go
Yeah, I'm just trying to make it home
I watched the trains on the coast, they're moving me
I washed your hands like the wind blowing the breeze
I saw the sky open up your blue and grey
I saw that, I saw that night life running through your veins
Yeah, all the better kinds of weird
And she likes her liquor clear
I'm still not sure what I'm doing here
But paper love, don't hold back
Pour it on thick, darling don't hold back
Whenever you come around and my teeth come out
Tell me what you're feeling real good about
(feeling real good about)
I watched the trains on the coast, they're moving me
I washed your hands like the wind blowing the breeze
I saw the sky open up your blue and grey
I saw that, I saw that night life running through your veins
I saw that night life running through your veins

+Liz Daly Reyes Salgado thankx for the lyrics!
I love Lydia then and now :)
seeing them today whoooooooooo!!!!!! 😛
Whoever disliked this obviously is a terrible human
Or maybe it was just someone who didn't like the song. I didn't like it.
Devil has to be the album I've listened to more than anything since its release. I can't wait for the new album!
Seeing them this Saturday :)
Seeing them in October!!
Lucky you :(
Who the fuck gave this a thumb down?
People who just can't move on for what ever the fuck reason. Early Lydia is great, middle period Lydia even better and Devil / The Cinema and this album as good as anything out there (common denominator being Leighton Antelman) The guy is just sheer class and I trust him to deliver the goods time after time
Same here. He is truly talented
It's keep playing roll over the day.. Now I reach you
won't change? maybe you should re-listen to illuminate again...or 50 more times.
LOL, right? As soon as Steve left, the sound changed drastically.
amorningofsleep yes, but change is inevitable. it's good. so long as you branch from that SAME original root. Lydia both old and new is exquisite. <3
for example his writing abilities haven't changed in sense of good to bad, rather sad to happy. the quintessential lyrical ability and content hasn't changed. His drive and ambitions haven't changed.
in other words Lydia's music from Illuminate to run wild is all still the same in the sense that it is timeless.
I love them so much even though listening to them brings up hurtful memories. Lydia is the best.
it is so refreshing to know theres bands out there that wont change at all for anything. I love it.
Can't wait for the new album. I'm in dire need of more good tunes.
+David Rothenberg if you havent already listen to leightons other band "the cinema"
