Something about Luther’s voice just gets me. Some of his songs are hard for me to listen to Bc they bring tears so easily. Truly touches my soul.

For me Luther was the real deal, his lyrical content, the music and instruments, sometimes I listen and say hang on a minute I didn't hear that last time round, his performances was sublime, truly one of the greats for me

2:40- 2:43 gay rumors CONFIRMED.......smh........still a tight track tho......i think this might be the only gay artist i listen to REGULARLY altho i DO NOT think Luther wanted that to overshadow his talent......he is the BEST at adlibs and that over lapping of vocals......like in "Promise ME" promise me you'll leave me never(PROMISE MEEEEEEEEEEEEE) promise me we'll stay together(PROMISE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE) he does shit like that in ALOT of his songs.......and personally i think NO ONE is better at that kind of composition......he had a NATURAL ear for it.........NO ONE does the remix better than the original........EXCEPT for Luther that is......MANY of his remixes were better than the original.......the one by Streisand or Midler..."Superstar" is a cover......but his is BY FARR better.....He covered a Temptations track as well and killed it.......there is an OPEN indictment for Murder against Luther in the town where that song was recorded. And i think there may be more.....but as far as that overlapping of vocals and adlibs.......i say he's in a class of his own......i mean the vocal arrangements are SO GOOD its amazing to me.........and i'm just a cab driver not even a music connoisseur. But i know good shit when i hear it.........and Luther put out some QUALITY work
