he didn't fall off, times just changed. the wild style that people like Ludacris, Redman, Busta Rhymes, etc excelled with is no longer impressive or as popular because pretty much every rapper on SoundCloud is replicating styles similar to it nowadays.
Older rapper's can no longer rely on flow and hot bars imo nowadays, it's a lot more about good production and serious subject matter. That's why Jay-Z's styles changed up and why Eminem rapping fast is viewed as corny and kinda embarrasing to see.
