They remind me of the great California scene Warren Zevon came out of so it's no surprise they would do this great tribute for him.

Okay, you have a right to an opinion. That being said, your opinion is awful. They have been working their ass off for so long its insane.

You need a hug and some beer. Maybe some evil human being to break your heart. Not that I would actually wish that on anyone (even an asshole such as yourself), but listening to Lucero and heartbreak kinda go hand in hand.

i have heard the whole album all 10 songs real good these guys are great

women and work was my favorite album they came out with when it came out. if you didn't like it to their other albums right away that's because love isn't always in your face. sometimes it grows on you . I don't know just rambling. I love this band, can do no wrong to me. this band has heart and is music that makes you feel alive.

After seeing them live, always in the same bar, I can say they are the best damn bar band-period. Always a little different and never fail to deliver.

This is perfect. It's amusing to see that people are angry that they don't put out the same album every couple years. The bigger a band gets, the more hands go into the production, it gets more refined, easier for the masses to listen to, shitty but natural progression. But the song writing and passion are still there. Might take a few listens (I'll admit I didn't like Women and Work at first) to appreciate though. Give it a chance lads.

I only listened to this song cause of the title.. Sometimes I dont know why bands are famous. Also, its pernounced Ze-von.. not zvon.

Saw Ben play this song last night at The Basement East in Nashville. I agree that production is a bit "softer" than we are used to but I'm telling you, go see him play it live. You will not be disappointed

@Max Martilik It's definitely taking me a little longer than usual to get used to this. A lot 'softer' production wise, as you say. It's growing on me though.

@Max Martilik Was there as well super good live, we road tripped with them up to Lousiville the next night too, the rest of our group carried on to columbus and a couple are still on the tour. I had to get back to Austin. Apparently he played another couple new songs further on the tour

Got to watch them perform at the Cain's in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after the show he came out and drank with my friends and myself. You can hear the passion for music in his voice and its carried over with every song he's wrote. Great guy and great music

This is ripping. After seeing them open for themselves at the Echoplex in LA and at a random Bowling alley in San Diego last winter, Its nice to hear this song. A little West Coast inspiration for an amazing band.
