I am still staggered by this track every time I listen to it and even more staggered that so few people have watched it, up voted it and commented how brilliant it is .

Glad I started listening this song years back, not because some fucking TV show.

I wasn't talking about the election man, it was only a metaphor. Well, I probably can understand your point of view in some way. But why do you care that much about what they saying ? if you have your opinion, good, hold on for it, if is right. I don't know what the hipsters are saying, fuck them, not much into.
You feeling like they treat people less valid in some way, your opinion, right? But even if they, whether it wisely? to treat somebody less valid because that silly thing ?
There is the flip side of the coin, people can be just satisfied from the fact, that some great song, movie or artwork that is close to them, is connected with certain circumstances, in which they met it. What do you think, how many is there comments like "I likes this song before it was cool" and how many "...brought me here/ I'm here because the..." at least the same amount. I'm not thinking that you're less valid, especially not because of something like that, no.
You would have to give me some better reason.

I have found so much amazing music from watching that show. This is a great example. Ann Kline and the show’s producers and editors do a fantastic job of finding the perfect music / song to emote the feeling in each scene. Each episode is truly a work of art.

Update in July 2019 . I have seen both Low and LP live in 2019. The LP gig was my fav gig since 1991, and I love her 2019 album. Low were also excellent , but LP was simply sensational live . The power and range of her voice. The quality of the music and songs. her effortless charisma . In all my years of gig going (over 45 years and counting). I have seen only two other people dominate the stage in such a way : Freddie Mercury and David Bowie .
ps both LP and Low are in my all time top ten artists ' !

July 2019 update . I still rate Low as a great band, but I now consider LP the best modern act I have seen . saw her live in May 2019 , and she was sensational . The quality of the songs and music, the power and range of her voice. her charisma on stage equalled that of Freddie Mercury and David Bowie : Listen to "Lost on you" , "Muddy Walters", "Recovery" , "The Power"

White stripes would have been influenced by Low and not the other way around, if influencing happened..at the time of The White Stripes emergence into the public's radar, Low's sound was in a different place of evolution and didn't sound much like this.
