A word on the music itself - it's coming from an Optigan, this 70's organ that came with discs with backing music. As far as I can tell, very little other than Mimi's vocals actually came from Low. Which is not a dig, since the song is dope :)

So...I got this on my Zune many moons ago and like it. This morning I heard on the radio Buddy Miller's "When It Comes To You" and it sounds a lot like this one. Be sure to listen to the album version of Buddy's song on Spotify, not the Youtube video version. The scratchy background, the synth organ. I don't know which came out first...coincidence? You be the judge.

+MaxPixUT This thing is only one instrument, and Mimi singing over it. It's called an Optigan. It's an old sort of player organ that is basically a precursor to the "fingered" setting on a Casio keyboard. So you just hold down a chord and it does what you hear here, the whole thing, beat and all. So they did this version of Hatchet with the funny thing to be funny.

I could bump around my house to this tune on a continuous loop for days.
