Nostalgic fur sure... lol but thank goodness music has evolved since 82’. I was in my teens and young and naive when lover boy was at the pinnacle of their career but compared to the music I listen to now, they just can’t compare. Lover boy is no longer the “the lucky ones”. That’s reserved for the music of 2018. I’m 51 and after hearing this song from so long ago, I can honestly say my taste in music has substantially improved over the years. Grateful for that and would no way want to revisit the 80’s.

i always thought that in this song and at the 3.00 minute mark of this song that mike reno was singing,,, "niggah don't axe me how, but guess who hit the big time". you have to listen closely to it, it's very subtle.

Probably my favorite Loverboy song. It isn't very flashy or spectacular, but I like it that way. The guitar riffs are great, Mike Reno brings fire with his vocals, and the band is just firing at all cylinders for sure here. Shame it doesn't get more airplay today.
