Op! What was that sound?? I dont know but it sure sounded like a million hardcore and screamo bands being blown out of the water by this album. This album is an instant classic and signals the death of a scene and perhaps the birth of another. I was always a more of a DGD fan when they had kurt. The Death Star Album was impressive, as was Happiness to a lesser extent. However, this album features a matured (vocally) kurt performing up to his full potential at last

This would be Cory Lockwood, and I don't think it's possible for Kurt to have "killed" DGD. They had only released one album with Jonny before Kurt joined, and he recorded two albums with them before Jonny came back and recorded one more. They've had equal roles in the band, so I think the problem is more that you don't like DGD that much rather than that Kurt killed the band.
