We had our son two months ago tomorrow. He was 33.5 weeks (6.5 early) and weighed 4 lbs 8 oz and spent 16 days in the Nicu. Now he is almost 8 lbs and doing great. I believe in the Underdog!

I can't believe how far I've come. The pain in the ass who always got in the way, told me I'd never make it on my own, the very definition of underdog. Everything was a challenge, everyone gave up on me after the first few trys. I never stopped succeeding, never stopped getting better.

I used this song 2 years ago to help me get threw my daughter being born at 28 weeks and in the nicu. The words just helped me get threw allot and gave me hope. She is now 2 and doing amazing. On May 27th of this year we had our little boy Ryder come at 30 weeks I have found myself back here listening to this song for comfort. It is crazy how this song can comfort someone in this type of situation.

This song really hellped me to work for something that I wanted. I have always been the "Under Dog" I worked hard and my (Football team) only won 2 games last year, but this year we won 5 lost 4. At our last game we were losing 6-0 with 45 seconds left and they had the ball. Within their own 5 yard line, they fumbled. Our line backer dropped on it as nd then on first down. Ran it to the 1 yard line, on second down, scored the touchdown, then our kicker came out (Who hasn't made a PAT all year) and kicks it and then got the extra point. They had 2 chances to score. We kept tgem from getting into field goal range. Then we won the game 7-6. Our team has always been the underdog. We have NEVER had a winning season. But this year we did!

I was born with Cryzon Sydrome, and the doctors gave me less than 6 months to live. I am now 18 years old and a senior in high school, and I just accepted a full ride to Kansas State University to play softball and livestock judging. I have survived about 65 surgies to stuff that my sydrome has caused. I am a 3 time State Player of the Year and 2 time State MVP. I have proven ever single doctor wrong. I am thankful everyday that I'm here. So I believe that I am a true underdog. Go Underdogs!!

My Husband and I first heard this song when we were on our 1hr and 15min. ride to the NICU where our Twins were after they were born 12weeks (3months) early, they were 2lb 6oz & 2lb 8oz, so small and fragile, We worked our butts off to make sure we could be with them @ the hospital everyday and spend as much time with our 2 older children @ home, We were told that they might have problems and maybe even lose our Twin boy due to heart issues, They are now 17months old & this is our song for them

I was the prom queen, we had our little man 1 month and 1 day early...with too many health issues to count. We do live check to check, but we have it all. My amazing husband told me about this song this morning and I have listened over and over. It is our life! The life we live isn't an easy one between bills being due and 15 doctor appointments a month for our little man but that's ok. We hit our knees and we pray and God takes care of us like He said He said he would.

I saw these guys in concert at The Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, Ok. They did an opening show for Jake Owen and did an amazing job. Every since then I have loved this band. Very inspiring artists!

Me and my wife have known for some time that we were unable to have children of our own. March 17th of this year a crack head gave birth to a two-month premature, 3 lb 15 oz little girl that she didn't want so bad she tried to abort the baby herself and failed. Here we are 3 monthes latter and that little underdog who refused to be not wanted is now our little girl whom has given more joy than we could believe possible!

I was diagnosed with autism when I was 14 and everyone said I would end living dependently with family all my life. I'm 19 and now everyone says I am one of the greatest men they know. Funny, huh? :,)

There is a girl that the only thing I wish for before graduation is to go on one date with. The only problem is she is out of my league and completely stunning in every way. I wish she could believe in the underdog as much as I do :/. Even if it didn't go farther than the first date I would still feel more accomplished and pleased than anyone else on this planet.

@CaityLyn2010 bless you my dear, and congrats to you becoming a mother. as a dad of a special needs kid that is routinely written off by doctors and society in general, i have learned to "pay no mind" to the haters. we as humans, with the grace of god, adapt and overcome....i think sometimes doctors forget that. i have talked with many physical therapists that scoff at doctors prognosis' truth is the only person that limits you , is you. thank you for sharing your story.

i was an underdog as well born to a drug addict mother 2 months early 2.8 lbls i was diagnosed with cerebral palsy before i left the hospital i was 7 weeks old when my miracle showed up the woman and man i call my parents they believed in me from the start never holding me back from anything after a long battle with learning, emotional, physical disabilties, and still not knowing if something will happen and ill once again be back to where i started
