I can see why Loretta is still the First Lady Of Country Music. She still has the pipes and her life of a healthy lifestyle, keeps her going. Every time is see the movie, Coal Miner’s Daughter is on, I watch it, even though I’ve seen it a dozen times. Her life wasn’t perfect, her marriage wasn’t perfect and her kids, aren’t perfect, but, that is real life, isn’t it!? Imagine if Doolittle didn’t push her singing career! Even though he was known as a tyrant, alcoholic and womanizer, he was her number one fan.

I love you Loretta, saw you at an Ice Arena in Allen Park, MI, years ago. My Mother knew how much I loved your music, and she took me to see you. We even walked by the Coal Miner bus, and I put my hand on it. My Daddy is from Martin County, Ky. and my Mother is from Pike County, Ky. I spent most of my life there, at the homeplace. It's gone now, but the family still there, Mother was a school teacher and moved us to Michigan, for better pay. She taught for over 40's, and her first job, was in a one room school house. I love your music.

I agree with you yes Loretta Lynn deserves more respect than anyone would ever know I don't like anyone to be negative about the great lady of country music we got to remember she came from a poor home and she will never forget her roots as a child could any of us say that we have been as far as her know some of us can't I've never been able to travel any further than Florida that's the only place I've ever been I went to London Ontario in 2003 and I got to see that great lady of country music but I was so far away and because of my sight I could hardly see her but you could bet that I sang every one of her songs along with her my mom was sitting beside me and she said merry be quiet I said why she said because I came here and I want to sing Loretta Lynn's music and I kept it up and when they came to Coal Miner's Daughter I didn't even want to leave we were supposed to leave during a song so that we could get out in the lobby to see her but I'm glad that I stayed and saying coal miner's daughter with her the greatest singer of all times let us all pay humble respects to her and treat her what the utmost dignity as she deserves she has gone through a lot she had that stroke then she broke her hip she deserves a lot of credit for coming back out and singing and I think that the more we love her the more that she will be blessed God bless all of us who love her and God bless her for being who she is
