I submitted her cover of The Highwayman to my senior literature teacher for extra credit when I was in highschool. He must have listened to the entire album, as he came back on Monday handed mt cd to me and said "if she had been doing this in the 60's she would have been huge."

Loreena McKennitt is an enigma musically. She is a story teller with great ability to take to people a primal place that we have forgotten about. Ageless, timeless, beautiful music.

Definitely her best. And my favourite. This is truly the stuf that makes dreams of an higher order
