i have been listening to lordi since i was like 6 years old, something like that, and i didn’t understand the lyrics of this song, but i would always cry when listening to it, because for some reason i got so emotional listening to it. 😭 and i still love this song so much.

okay but what the fuck. Oh... hum... i know a lot of things about lordi but I ignor the chronology of their album... I don't know who were in the group in "get heavy", I'm only certain there was Mr.lordi and amen. I just said Enary and Kalma was in the fanvideo x)

okay but what the fuck. I have searched and the group was Mr.Lordi, Amen for the guitar, Magnum the bass, Enary the "piano", and finally kita the batterie for "get heavy" 2002

Enary plays on Get Heavy, Kalma doesn't. They recorded the songs with Magnum, but he quit/was fired after the recording process, and Kalma replaced him. That's why Kalma appears on the album cover and in the Devil is a Loser video, but Magnum is still there in the Would You Love a Monsterman? video.
(Something similar happened during The Arockalypse era, Kalma plays on the album, but he quit after they recorded the songs, and OX replaced him, hence OX's appearance on the album cover)

Ok I gave it an honest listen to 9 of their songs and I cannot pass his voice.. He sounds like he is gurgling water. I love heavy metal back in legendary 80's where I grew up in that decade. The so-called music these days are off kilter and confused and Tooooo many fucking pop singers. I'll keep listening to Lordi maybe and grow onto it. ;)

As for who Dimmu Borgir or Mastodon are, look up the songs In Death's Embrace (or Burn in Hell, either would work), and Divinations respectively.

And I have no idea who those other bands are of whom you speak as I was thinking more along the lines of Celtic Frost. At the end of the day, tho', the fact that you like them & I don't is fine. I'd never heard of 'Lordi' before. I found a picture of 'Ox' in the back of the latest Ibanez cataloue, and thought, 'These guys look hardcore: might be worth a look.' Sorry, these guys are about as hardcore as 'Europe' (remember 'The Final Countdown'?) Musically, they're nothing that hasn't been done a THOUSAND times before, and the costumes are just Gene Simmons writ large. Looking at this video, tho', at least they have a sense of humor. Music for pre-teen kids, nothing more. Fail.
