The reason ll ended his career was because he did a shady side deal for the record label to drop canibus. LL explain it on the GOAT album. Thats what really happened to canibus! Not because ll dissed him over no bullsit record. Look how many rap careers are still lasting after a diss? LL couldnt take what canibus said bout his girl and he went higher up from the mic and hip hop and some how him and busta rymes got canibus dropped from the label. Facts!!

It was because LL was more of a pop rapper and canibus did the more raw underground stuff. People like the pop, status stuff better (money, cars, bitches, etc). He was a good lyricist but the game isn't just about that. Plus, his voice was a bit annoying and sometimes he lacked the right lyric flow, but the weakest point of canibus was his beat choices, he had terrible beats in his songs. The only good beat I remember was from 100 bars, most of his beats are weird and out of place. As, a lyricist, amazing, same level as eminem IMO.
