LiveonRelease - Get With It Lyrics

MAN is this embarrassing—these ladies are ripping on good-looking girls who get record contracts because the way they sound and dress happens to be popular at the moment. Meanwhile, Bif Naked signed THESE good-looking girls to a record contract because Pop-Punk happened to be _hugely_ marketable in 2001. Blink-182 opened the floodgates for groups like LiveonRelease—similar-sounding, inferior bands that were just as manufactured as any of the Girl or Boy Bands of the day. And at least those Pop groups had WELL-WRITTEN SONGS; this _Get With It_ track is hardly a song at all.

The point of the video actually is that those girls were being fake and this band is saying don't be fake be yourself and tell the truth about who you are instead of pretending to live in some fake fairytale idea of reality.  They are giving girls a voice they can relate to rather than singing a song that has no meaning or substance.

Actually Britt Black co-wrote a song on Bif's album when she was 10, and when LOR disbanded, she became Bif's guitarist. A bit more than being forced to be there... This is actually a band that formed themselves, and were part of the west coast punk scene.

@chuykehrnz the resin why they broke up was , beacuse of britt black witch was in the band liveonRelease her dad said . that his daughter has so much talent . and she should be a singer on her own . so that's what happen . , dont want to be mean but i thin she sucks . lol but liveonrelease was one of the best bands ever.

pavlova. Maybe you should stop sniffing glue. Canada isn't even close to being a part of the U.S.A. I've lived in both countries and the differences are like night and day. Living in Canada was paradise while the U.S. made me feel like I was wallowing in a filthy cesspool.
