It's a cover folks. That means nothing but the words have to match the original. It may sound better than the original. Or worse. That's something everyone can make their own decision about. Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing.

This is just wonderful. Now I am no One Direction fan but I do think Story Of My Life is one of their better songs but I do think it's too upbeat for the lyrics they sing. I love the lyrics to this by the way, does anyone know if One Direction wrote them or someone else? Lissie has taken this song, understood the lyrics, and made something quite haunting and beautiful.

I'm literally crying right now. She draws you in and takes you with her through every emotion captured in this already beautiful song. Strong, vulnerable, hopeful, hopeless, passionate. Right there with her. I'm really loving her!

I don't really listen to One Direction, but you can't really compare the two styles they seem completely different, at least of what I have heard from One Direction. It's better if you prefer it but you can't say one is definitely the best. She chose to do the cover because she most likely respected it stylistically.

this song, in my opinion, is very touching and when 1D sing it live it's always somehow lacking emotions. This, on the other hand it's how it is meant to be sang.
