Lisa Loeb - How Lyrics
I didn't come this far for you to make this hard for me.
And now you want to ask me "How?"
It's like - how does your heart beat, and why do you breathe?
How does your heart beat, and why do you breathe?
You weren't invited.
And you're on the outside - stay on the outside.
And now you want to ask me "why?"
It's like - how does your heart beat, and how do you cry?
How does your heart beat?
And there are some things that I'd like to figure out.
There are some things that I can do without -
Like you and your letters that go on forever,
And you, and the people that were never friends.
Never friends.
With all the things that you could be,
You never could learn how to be me.
And now you want to ask me "How?"
It's like - how does your heart beat, and why do you breathe?
How does your heart beat, and why do you breathe?
How do you breathe?

yes im from the slums of Baltimore, the hood and I loved this song since the end of jack frost.
man they did Freddie Grey wrong my brother.
stackleft yes they did. i do agree. but he is just one the media caused attention to. i know alot of people who have been killed by police in this city. very graphic details. thanks for your understanding.
Me too !
I was born in 1995.
I have this feeling that the 90s were a blue decade. For example, music was mellow or sad like this.
Does anyone agree with this?
+ET Phone Home And everything after is emotionless...just my opinion, born in '75.
ET Phone Home maybe that’s cause another century was coming to a close? Idk 😐
What??? Ill be fair....grunge was sad!!! Every other genre was normal.....meaning the sound fluctatuted!!!!
So I was born in 1975 and the 1990s were the decade of my young adulthood. The music is so diverse and wonderful. Better than the 1980s (and way better than the decade of my birth - the 1970s). Early 1990s alternative was probably a bit dreary but then you have the cure “Friday I’m in love”. And U2. And so much more. Each decade has so much good music really
1995 was like MY YEAR lol... yes, you are spot on ♥️🙏😇
it reminds me of Forreal grunge days.
Lol me and my cuz twister days ; ). I introduced him to this song.
This song reminds me of Jack Frost .. Childhood memories
"Jack Frost" and "Twister" brought me here. Never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
Same here.. Jack frost
+Gabreya Bradley Jack Frost ; )
I heard this song on the Twister soundtrack (which I owned) at age 15. I swore I would one day learn to play it. At age 34 I'm finally accomplishing that goal.
that's the scene where they were talking about the F5 tornado and how Jo's the only one that's seen it right?
Malak Macabre were the same person.lol
You go MALAK !
Sir.... wow ! truly sense of music. From a 28yo guy, thank you. btw that scene.... gave chills
" Is there an F5 ? ......... What would that be like .............. A finger of God...... " <3
Same, except with Sandalwood
