It's very nice if you like that kind of thing, but more than a bit bland. I had been wondering if I ought to get some good kid's music (such as Elizabeth Mitchell's) for my three-year-old daughter, but I now realise that since I've already got her requesting the Beatles and REM, there's no more need for the entry-level stuff.

I can't believe all the crazy comments about this video! This is one of my favorite kids songs ever. It brings a tear to my eye, thinking of the precious innocence of my sweet little girls who are growing up so fast. This song also reminds me of a pagan full moon ritual. I plan to teach my girls how to draw down, or "catch" the moon. All in all, this a a gorgeous video that I watch with my littlest one every night before bed :)

How unbelievable - my toddler's favourite passtime is "catching the moon" with anyone he can con to take him outside in the evening. I googled "catch the mooon" and found this. Wonderful. I'm entranced!!! Actually we're entranced. Tommie just watched it and tried to sing along. He just LOVES "Catch the moon!"

Forget calling this children's music, this is love song to a sister. This is not a song for children to sing, but a song about the joy of innocence and the love for a sisters joy.
First class, Wonderful work by Lisa Loeb. I am glad the video is on youtube because it is no longer on her website. Shame. Emailing a link to it has helped me expose her talents to my friends.

Liz and Lisa are fantastic, and Elizabeth Mitchell is truly the nouveau master of children's music. Even just her touching renditions of Dylan and Velvet Underground songs are classics!
