Hardcore is music, music is about being creative. Simplistic lyrics can be thrown together in 5 minutes, same with simplistic riffs. I understand the live aspect of it, i'm in a band and go to shows all the time, but when i LISTEN to music it needs to be something I haven't heard 16 hundred times before. This is just my opinion, to each his own, listen to what you like.

Hardcore isn't about being creative with lyrics. Hardcore is a place for the outcasts who are angry, is a place to release aggression. I am the nicest, sweetest guy you will ever meet. But once I get I step in that pit, I become someone else. Lionheart does the same on stage, they let out their aggression on stage, so they don't have to be angry assholes in person.
