I felt that so fucking hard!.. My bestfriend killed herself this past June... 11 days after my 15th birthday...
she just turned 18 on May 21st..
She told me so many times to not harm myself because I mattered to alot of people, including her. And now she's just

I first heard this song on the radio when it first came out. I was on the fence about it, the tempo wasn't what I was used to but the lyrics had me. On the second listen I could get into it. The third time was the day Chester left us.
RIP sir. Put your load down and rest.

This makes me so sad...this was a cry for help. Everybody criticized him when this song came out..and it didn't help his mental health. So many people feel this way, and no on realises it! Do you know how many people suffer from depression and anxiety? A LOT. People are hurting so badly, but they put on a brave face so no one knows... I hate that people are so ashamed of their emotions 😔 you're not the only one. You're not the only one slowly fighting yourself. I hate how people don't care about other people's feelings. Make someone feel better. I promise it helps. They may not admit it, but a single "I'm here for you" can make someone feel that much better ❤

I talked about this music video awhile ago. Nothing bad. I praised the music from the band, the words that were spoken, and felt deeply in my soul why this SOUND existed. I can feel for the lyrics though. After all we put a lot on our own self. Makes us feel odd, out of place, and obscure to the world.


Why anyone wouldn't enjoy this refreshing take on life from their own problems in the past, that's beyond me.

Then u watch the video and you see how he was in a self help meeting and how he is dragging around the weight of all these problems. It was a crazy enlightening moment in my morning meditation.

People it's not your fault that any of you couldn't hear Chester's cry for help.
What happened was unfortunate but let's remember that we're fortunate because six friends came together to make music that helped us get through hard times and heal. *Stop blaming yourselves*

How could anyone hate this song😰. When I was about 10 I first heard this song I the radio. I fell In love with it. I heard it another time. I looked it up and then it became my favorite song. My mom asked who sang it and I said Linkin park. She told me some songs she knew from them and I loved them. These people are such legends. I found out he died In 2019 😂. When I heard about it I was shocked even tho I was 2 years later. Today I figured out how he died. I thought he just died of a heart attack or somthing but I was just singing a song of them randomly inform of my friends parents and Th he asked how I knew them. They started playing songs from them and they said he was depressed and he hung him self. That made me feel so sad. RIP chester we miss you.

This is perhaps brave, but despite his horrible fate this still isn't a good album, nor song. This is like AC/DC making electronica, Justin Bieber trying his hand at punk music, Chris Tomlin doing black metal...it just doesn't work...doesn't even sound remotely like them. If they wanted to do something like this they shoulda made a side project and no one would be upset.

Linkin Park never was one genre. They didn't have to stick to heavier music to appease people like yourself.

@Bobby D And I appreciate that about them! But HT and Meteora was by far their most creative and best sound, and every other year they ditched it for something completely different. I don't mind experimentation but I can hardly call this the same band as it was back in 03. OML wouldn't have irked so many people if it was a one off sound, but they ditched the sound that was literally THE reason people like them and never returned.
