Linkin Park - Esaul (A Place For My Head Demo) Lyrics
Writing with a head full of buckets of red
And what I said is still stuck in my head
A thoroughbred, thoroughly bled,
And led to the land of the never-come-backs
Smaller than a thumbtack, and they never run from that
Smaller than a fly's head
I'm a lyrical lamb, the power of a god
In my cynical hand
With a pen, once again swimmin'
In the centre of a hit or a miss
Reeling in my thoughts gettin' lost in the mist
Realise that one the size of the fist
And the killin' of a killer with a flick of the wrist
I wanna live in another place
Live for them
(Still I see that it's not meant to be for me)
I wanna be in the energy
Not with the enemy
A place for my head
And the second is gone
The weapon of time is stronger than a nuclear bomb
Eternity or half-life
Somethin' that math can't write
You can't fight nor flee
Still be around if it wasn't for me
Weigh that, verse whatever, my friends
So you can see the attraction of the payback
Don't want me to say that?
Play back the thing now, gettin' lost in the chaos
Tossin' it down,
Singin' again to myself
Electric neck twitch
Hungry for a head full of hectic
Accept this, doing double-duty on time
Adding to the panic of my confine
Singin' again to myself
Electric neck twitch
Hungry for a head full of hectic
Accept this, doing double-duty on time
Adding to the panic of my confine
I wanna live in another place
Where no one can say that I,
Live for them
(Still I see that it's not meant to be for me)
I wanna be in the energy
Not with the enemy
A place for my head
Soon the Aztec moon will heat my room heal my wounds [8x]
I wanna live in another place
Where no one can say that I
Live for them
(Still I see that it's not meant to be for me)
I wanna be in the energy
Not with the enemy
A place for my head
Burn! [4x]
Singin' again to myself
Electric neck twitch
Hungry for a head full of hectic
Accept this, doing double-duty on time
Adding to the panic of my confine
Singin' again to myself
Electric neck twitch
Hungry for a head full of hectic
Accept this, doing double-duty on time
Adding to the panic of my confine

Mike goes in on this version! I can see why they changed it though.
Hit or The Miss?
Love this song
1:47 change the lyrics to "They ask me to clean my room, NO I WON'T" it's messing your brain
I love the bass
rip chez <3
I was looking for a better quality version of this version of this song, love it, like the other versions
I like that sound at the end of the demo version of this song. Sounds like a Police Siren or a Fire Alarm.
From what I heard, one night, a car alarm was activated in a car near Brad's apartment. Brad recorded the sound and it became a base for the first demos of this song. This doesn't really sound like a car alarm though, so I guess they changed that part
@Ondra Spendlik A little bit, I believe LOL
Linkin Park - A Place for My Head

holy shit Mike damn that boy can rap fast as shit how he rap this complex lyrics this fast that and still keep up with Chester

It's still good though.
I always thought it was Eskimos will clean my room no I won't.
I listen to Esaul from the another video...and the lyrics are so different than this vid
Esaul was what I call the "Aztec Moon" demo, for obvious reasons. The other one, although titled as Esaul was actually called "A Place For My Head"
It's Mark Wakefield! no Chazy :)
S5373232 It's Chester, this song come from 1999 when Linkin Park were called hybrid theory.
This is my song when I get so mad I want to go in a room of fears and enemy's and kick tons of ass with a ton of weapons and shit!
soon the upset moon will heat my room isnt it?
the second rap parts back ground ........chester is still with that park
I find it hard to take the other song seriously.
This song? Or the finished version?
@Wesley Smith He means a place for my head is hard to take seriously because of how good this is
mike sounds better here but chester not so much
it's amazing!!!!!
shinoda wanted to be eminem
why? he was so much better
soon the aztec moon will heat my romm, heal my wounds
i dont like this its too idek
Its "soon, the *Aztec moon* will heat my room"
Lol they wrote yesterday
original is better, luckily this is a demo
this is the original one fool :/
I refer to the one on the cd
nope this one is awesome. Mikes rap is killer. and chesters vocals are amazing. it could use a few tweaks here n there but the thing is they shouldve kept the same main rap idk
VOLVOX Gaming for me the heal my wounds part kinda kinda weird :|
VOLVOX Gaming: I agree. Mike's rap is less simplified and it shows how formidable of an emcee he is. Enough to give other rappers a run for their money.
Michael the arch angel cast down the stone of chaos to the abyss and to the bottom of the sea.
Jason Anderson you know esaul good one
Let us be free
donde estan los de "Serj es el mejor hablando con su Chop Suey"??
Badly edited.
No it's how it sounds I have it on my phone
@***** they should have left a place for my head like this
I believe "Comin' another front tack" is actually "Smaller than a thumb tack".
@MayhemMercenary Me too.
It's not Chester bro
It's Mark Wakefield!
it is Chester this all happen when he came in the band if you know what " And one" then you will know that what was there first song with Chester.
