His punchlines have gotten more complex over time. His flow, cadence and delivery, which have always been great, have gotten much better, too. Nigga don’t even breathe anymore... S4TW2 showed me that Wayne is one of the most underrated and unjustifiably disliked rappers. Nigga can go toe to toe with your favorite rapper and survive without as much as a scratch. Also, his energy and charisma are incredible; they’re another reason why I can listen to him all day. Lastly, unlike rappers like Eminem, who raps on shitty beats (at least lately), and have a boring and a somewhat outdated style, Wayne has ALWAYS stayed relevant, consistent, and versatile. He never had an outdated style or sound or shit beats. Yeah, he tried different styles, and they didn’t fit or work for him, but he never had a bad style, bad flow, bad cadence, bad delivery or bad wordplay. If you say otherwise, you need to really go look up some of his lyrics and listen to his mixtapes.
