@jae'ooir melody ive been a student of hip hop for the last 20 years so i get what she was doing. checking the temp of the industry and seeing how her new sounds go over with fans and the industry. the problem is her distribution company and her choice of singles. plus with her being an indie artist, it always takes a toll on the overall amount of eyes pushed toward your project.


what I'm saying is instead of just dropping the buss tracks and leaving it at that, she should have dropped them as an EP since she pushed the album back for the reality show. the last mixtape she dropped was black friday. these buss singles couldve been a project by themselves and played more into the vibe of her overall album than Found you and some of the cuts on the album did.


i think she pushed the album back trying to find a big single and thats how Find You happened. but she needs to stick to the approvement of the fans instead of the insdustry.


i think she had a genuine sound and she went to chasing radio records and it backfired. Kim has always been a chameleon but she was always authentic. she is the queen of reinvention but it never felt forced...
