After loving them SOLID for fifteen years from afar, I finally got to see them on Sept 30 2016. They played the Opera House in Toronto. My son and I flew there from Winnipeg and spent the night. We returned home the next day. It was such an amazing show and time! We met Mark on the sidewalk after the show. I got a photo of him and I swapping hats. I love this band and all of their music, sooooooo much!

Lyrics to me has always been important, and to hear music so original and unique just tops it up. in place of "govt" there should be "The levellers" imagine a world like that where there was no such thing as "govern-ment" nobody would've ever heard of it cos it's just wrong and it's not alien to think that, look at the word "Govern Ment"... the word ment / mente, in latin/portuguese translates to 'mind' (mente) the fuckers are governing OUR minds, the word also means LIE (mentira), to lie (Mentir) it's wrong just so wrong when will humans evolve and understand it wasnt meant to be this way.

So thankful for 21st century Levellers. Loved em since the early 90s. I'm out in California by Tahoe. Not a big fan base here. I fear I will go my whole life without ever seeing them live. Please come to SF and thanks for the great new tunes (even though this is last year, Well done! More please)

I'm in Stockton California i've been a Levellers fan since the 90's too. I think i've met maybe three people that had ever heard of them in my area. Oh but I play their music whenever I can and turn as many people as I can on to them.

Since this is now the 25th anniversary of Levelling The Land and they are touring the UK if you've never seen them now would be the time to plan a trip across the pond.

The voice is there, the band is there, but like New Model Army, the cutting scalpel of well formed interlocking rhythmic lyrics and music has been traded for the slightly melancholic gift of wisdom and understanding. When Mumford and Sons with its Plato: The Republic; Cave is bouncing with modern vibrancy compared to what Thunder and Consolation and Levelling the Land were in full strength, I wish that I could go back and stop time for a moment and just say...here is a mirror of what will come.

I had just finished a drawing and a fan of the Levellers said that my art has the same feel as some of the CD covers, so I took a look, I was honored by the comparison and then I was curios of the music and this is the first song I heard by the band and it's fucking AWESOME! Love this track classic levellers! Ive seen them live a couple of times in the early 90's when iwas a real fan.One time was at the Bic in bourenmouth up stairs in the smaller venue. Barry manilow was playing the main stage down stairs and at one point between songs we were told to shout as load as we could FUCK OFF BARRY!! You know he fuckin heard us!! Love the levellers.Keepin it real.Peace!

Could someone tell me what they say in the end of the chorus. (for instance at 00.59) It sounds like "Such a little bit left over at the end", but it is so hard to hear as a non native :)
