No other band is like L42. They are completely original. They have remained my all time fave group since I first heard them in 1988. This is amazing since I have well over 7000 CDs. I would take a bullet for these guys, Lol.

One of my favorite song, and True Colors is my favorite album. 

How did a band do this and hotwater on the asme album?!?!?!!? You can tell, in retrospect that worldmachine, running in the family etc etc were gonna happen. A unique blend of raw power and raw emotion. Thanks for posting!

On all of their Albums I don't think that there's a bad track on any of them. It's a shame that talent such as theirs isn't at the forefront of the music industry anymore. At least us Level 42 fans know where to find excellence such as this and can still watch them out there doing what they do best - live performances. Thanks for posting.

Not really.
In funk the drums and the bass are the main instruments. You can hear it on all L42-albums that the bassline of MK is the driving force.
Any friends of me meaning that a bass is a background instrument and they are impressed as I shown the basslines of MK. They are meaning that a bass could'nt play a "melody". This song is a good example for playing a melody, in my opinion. Thumbs up for this song!!! ;-))

Great song..I like the salvador painting of girl by the window..True colours was I think L42 darkest album..I guess they cheered up after when they had sucess with World Machine!

Kudos to the best band in the world. I got hooked on these cats on the World Macine album and have loved them ever since! Email their ass and get them to play the states. I had the priviledge of seeing them once with Madonna way back when. Damn I love these guys!
