I know I'm gonna get shit for this comment, but whatever🙄

There are artist like Beyoncé, nicki Minaj, Katy perry, etc. who have very little talent, and just sound like generic, crappy pop artist. And yet somehow they get all this attention and fame.

And then there are artists like ivy levan, who is an original, has great vocals, has great music videos, who's so beautiful. And yet somehow she's not getting the full attention she absolutely deserves.

I know many people may disagree, but it's my opinion. Maybe it's a shitty one to you, but that's how I honestly feel.

She has a great voice and great videos. But this is not the video age anymore. Look up her live performances. These days you have to have a band.

The people who don't like that opinion wouldn't be watching Ivy ;) They're preoccupied with the Minaj's
I think it's a little unfair to artists, though. Even Béyonce has a role, and plays with some important ideas. I know she doesn't do it on her own, but hey, neither does Ivy. I just wish the fandom's would chill out and actively look for great music like this!

They all make their individual contributions to their audiences. Ivy's voice is sick but I can't see how that devalues any other artist's skillset.
