Less Than Jake - Look What Happened Lyrics
And I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
And we'll walk in circles around this whole block
Walk on the cracks on the same old sidewalks
And we'll talk about leaving town
And we'll talk about leaving
We rode across that bridge all night
We talked our way through city lights
Traced all the lines we're killing time
Under those buzzing signs
From downtown to anywhere but here
Tonight yeah I swear to these rooftops
And just hoped that car would never stop
And I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
Walk on the cracks on the same old sidewalks
And we'll talk about leaving town
And we'll talk about leaving
I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
We drove around this place all night
Past closed signs and familiar sights
We're moving by passing time
Counting those center lines
With 20,000 lines left to go
That lead to somewhere I don't know
It might be the time that we leave this all behind
And I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
And we'll walk in circles around this whole block
Walk on the cracks on the same old sidewalks
And we'll talk about leaving town
And we'll talk about leaving
I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
And there's been a few times
That we, we thought it felt right
To take all the westbound signs
And just leave town tonight
And I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
And we'll walk in circles around this whole block
Walk on the cracks on the same old sidewalks
And we'll talk about leaving town
And we'll talk about leaving
I swear it's the last time and I swear it's my last try
And I swear it's my last try
And we'll talk about leaving town, and we'll talk about leaving town

This was my 1st LTJ song back then - a true high-school hymn, aah the good times ^___^
This is from Borders and Boundaries. It was sort of the featured song.
Like it was a very-Vinny song on a very-Vinny album.
@Bobby Mack Im pretty sure they all helped write this one
end of 2019. Still love this song. This is my life story.
rip james i love you man i miss you everyday
Good memories of "Big" Mike banging "Big" Julie brought me here. I remember now how people remember those 2 *PLOWING* in the backseat of a rental car in the parking lot of a Kmart in Belton, Tx & I remember Less Than Jake because "Big" Mike liked them so much & because he banged that old Chinese bitch "Big" Julie & NOT because of that *SHIT* movie Grind & that lame ass faggot who played Seth from the O.C., which also sucked BIG, SWEATY, HAIRY Miley Cyrus balls!
Hey "Big" Mike, do you still work at Zumiez or whatever that stores called now that used to be formerly known as Fast Forward?
Does your fat ass still have gainful employment there?
Remember how you used to supposedly have a thing for that transgender *HIDEOUS FUCK FACE* Leah?
I remember those days so well.....
Some real horrible, traumatic memories there to reminisce over & further add to my descent into madness......
Good times?....... I guess......
Remember Tiz the Robot?
Trumpets

I am jake
I like this song
For anyone curious, this is the wrong album cover - this is the Borders and Boundaries version, not the Anthem version. The Anthem version has section after the intro cut and Heather from Teen Idols sings on the last chorus.
I always feel ready to change when I listen to this song.
Just saw them live. Had never heard of them and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are. The energy in the crowd was amazing
i just- love the part when it gets to the official chorus.
those vocals, along with that instrumental- just, FRICKIN' AMAZING.
1:21 like- there. just yes.
This is the song of my childhood Haha I'm 25 now and it brings me right back to being a kid, while my dad blasted this album on Saturdays and at family parties. Good stuff. :)
Damn this song brings back to many memories!
Praise mf jesus
Going to see these guys tomorrow night!
2019 anyone?

This is when you realize how short life really is, when you refind and go back to an old song from your teen years that you haven't heard in over a decade.

👏👏
Great song. One of my favourites. It’s a shame they never made a video for this; neither for this, the original (and best) version from Borders and Boundaries, not for the re-recorded version (also ok) on Anthem.
Wow my 5th time trying to leave my region... see if this time I'll succeed
here in 2018! <3
And we'll walk in circles around the same.old.shit .... I swear it's the last time I swear its.my last try .

Saw these guys are Warped Yesterday along with Pennywise and We The Kings, best day of my life!!!
And we’ll talk about leaving town, and we’ll talk about leaving town.
I got an ad in the middle of the song!?!? The fuck outta here
seriously, do I look like I'm pro left? ... I met foreigners who were real asshole, pushing their heritage onto the new world ... I met free people who didn'T give a fuck about their environment and ended up being random junkies ... so before you try again to change the world, let me live my fucking life god damnit ... so you wonder why you'Re not happy as can be, when me ... the sum of all your actions is stuck in some room alone, without booze, without drugs, sex deprived for years, being given money sometimes by his so called mum? well think again
Did less than Jake have more than one singer ?
NORTEskXIV yes Chris and Roger are both vocalists, it really is one of Less than Jake's greatest strengths.
And I swear it's my last time in NWI 219. Westbound signs
and i swear its the last time i listen to this song
One of my fav bands of all time!!!Had the privilege of hanging with these guys on several occasions after shows they would play at the masquerade in Atlanta Ga.Smoking weed..snorting primo coke and drinking cheap ass whiskey with guys you idolize makes for some fun late teen and early twenties memories. Can't get that kind of access to most artists unless your a chick with big ass tits and willing to fuck every guy in the room....Just sayin!!
Ah the movie grind still my favorite teenage movie lol
Hey 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝

Screw rap and the other gay music ska hardcore and punk is the way to go
you can like other kinds of music you know my dude, it's allowed to like multiple. and calling music "gay" makes you sound like a pube-ridden 14 year old, something to consider in future
This song is so awesome
this song is everything
I am not sure what version i prefer this one of the the anthem version
This is the Borders and Boundaries version. Why the Anthem art work.
Give B&B some love, I feel like its LTJs most under appreciated album.
Original version of the song was better and that's not saying much.
I’M YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!!!!!!!!!! -Stephan
One billion memories !!!!!!
Why do I remember this being like...quarter-faster tempo than it is?
Brings me back to middle school, my friend put me on to ska and we both loved LTJ. He convinced me to go to a show in downtown Providence, RI. Even though this city is very small and downtown isn't that big or as busy, it still seemed like i was on a new york street. This was also one of my first concerts and didnt know a thing about shows. Lost a shoe in the moshpit, finally found it, went crowded surfing for the first time. What an experience that was, it felt so amazing having all those people carrying you on their hands to the front of the show, getting a better peek of the band! Meyer Brown if your out there i love you man! Like many people in these comments, this song brings me back to a great memory <3
Was watching grind and this song came out at the end and I knew right away who it was
Saw them at Lokerse Feesten this year, amazing show, loved it
Go Straight past Rihanna, make a left at J-Lo and Blink 182, when you hear horns in a rock song, you know you've made it to the 90's
Saw them in Brockton MA in like 2006. They played the Ernie Ball stage. My sister's friend wanted to go to the beer tent, so I missed half the show waiting in line, but they were incredible. As they finished, I watched Rancid play while a one legged skater was going crazy on the vert ramp. Worth the sunburn and waiting in line.
This brings back great memories! What a band
Release the twins
Tune heres to Slam Dunk Festival 2017 😊
this song takes me back!
Motivation comes in many different forms. Less Than Jake is one of them.
i swear for a last time
me and my brother drank whiskey on my porch till sunrise, belting this out. we both left town since then. This song always warms my heart.
First time I've heard this song in probably 6 years. Feel like I just stepped out of a time machine. Good memories, miss being a kid.
this song has reached legendary status imo
I love the trumpet part the best :D
my neck hurts now.
Sweet Lou cleans no mans poo

Truly the greatest life philosophy one can have.
