Lemonheads, The - December Lyrics
I'm not keepin' up your side of the bargain
As we all know, a woman's will can harden
You try and soften up the blow
Still I hate to see you go
I beg your pardon
Get it started
Bake someone a cake and fold my heart in
Drive around the lake and roll my car in
Roll my car in
Is it time to pull my chestnuts from the fire?
Oh my my
Should I diversify or keep my powder dry
It's early in the day
And the truth becomes more clear as I get higher
Find a buyer
Claim yourself exempt and wear a wire
Sleep around until you're good and tired
Good and tired
Watch it bubble out of sight
Tell me psycho where's the knife
Yeah, tell yourself you're not my type
You're not keepin' up my side of the bargain
As we all know, a woman's will can harden
Try and soften up the blow
Still I hate to see you go
I beg your pardon

Lemonheads, The December Comments
I fuckkn love the rippity jam section in this thing...
The recording & this album rules. What a line up! 💥🤙🏻👊🏼
Bill Stevenson is a beast. I dunno if it can be matched for the next record. Ridiculously good on this track. Didn't realize how luckt I was to see this lineup in the Bowery at the time.
And that’s Theodora reciting that dancer ( the crazy mo fo that did the faun) NIJINSKY!!!
I dig the jam ... we never tried that before ... me and bill were like ok ... 2 minutes of ... jamming !
Has someone here by any chance access to a multitrack version of this song, or knows for sure that none exists? I‘m trying to figure out the bass-part and the e-minor-madness is frazzling me out - so far I‘ve just found .mogg of their Ms. Robinson...
Awesome song!
Any chance of putting the full album up? Its not on youtube.
Best song on the album. Love The Lemonheads.
