I played this album to death. Now I'm hearing it again for the first time in about 20 years. It's brilliant. I've never been a huge fan of electronic music - apart from sometimes at 3 o'clock in the morning in ratty old warehouses - but this album really stands out.

Who remembers KLF? sounds a bit like that style

Both KLF and Leftfield were some of the progenitors of progressive house, except the former band made heavy use of sampling and anthem-like choruses (the style they named "stadium house" with the eponymous video release back in 1989), and the latter was more oriented towards dub (and later breakbeat) and using African vocals.
