Leftfield - Open Up Lyrics

Burn, burn
Burn, burn

Burn, burn, burn...

Open up
Now open up

You lied, you faked
You cheated, you changed the stakes
Magnet toss that pie in the sky
Unrehearsed, let the bubbles burst

All in all, a three-ring circus
Of unity with parody
Tragedy or comedy
Probably publicity

Open up, make room for me
Now open up, make room for me

Lose myself inside your schemes
Go for the money, honey
Not the screen
Be a movie star, blah blah blah
Go the whole hog
Be bigger than God

Burn Hollywood burn, taking down Tinseltown
Burn Hollywood burn, burn down to the ground
Burn Hollywood burn, burn Hollywood burn
Take down Tinseltown, burn down to the ground

Down, into the ground

Burn, burn, burn
Burn...

John Lydon is a legend, tells it how it is, no bullshit

  3. L.... M....

In 1992/3 UK Dance music started to move from the initial club/rave sounds into darker, more experimental territory. This is one of the best examples, along with Prodigy's second album, and early Underworld. Still sounds fantastic.

So glad I was a staunch member of the E generation and still fly the flag wherever I can, 44 but still think and act like a teenager, only on the comedowns now I feel like I am having a stroke or a heart attack, so what, a good thing I myself think a good night on it is well worth it, do or die that's my moto. I would rather take the nok having a buzz than live forever a boring, miserable old fart. I mean come on, who in there rite mind would want to be known as a fart, Nah not for me folks happy heart attacks all round please. The drugs around these days are not good enough to see you off anyway

  95. M.... ....

    The forerunner for Firestarter.

  96. C.... ....

Who remembers KLF? sounds a bit like that style

    C.... ....

Both KLF and Leftfield were some of the progenitors of progressive house, except the former band made heavy use of sampling and anthem-like choruses (the style they named "stadium house" with the eponymous video release back in 1989), and the latter was more oriented towards dub (and later breakbeat) and using African vocals.

  97. W.... E....

What a time to be alive
