I don't think he's copying anybody, he's just being influenced by what's happening in music right now. In pop everybody used dubstep that past 3 years, in AC everybody is using this bluegrass sound. It's a great song :)

never really watched american idol, but I came across this song on the alternative charts a while back and I love it! I will definitely check out his album. I am a M&M fan as well as he sounds similar but also distinctly different. I love his sound.

All of you need to look into a group called Big Sky....they were around with Sister Hazel in Gainesville, but never got as big. They were around before all of these new great musicians.

You guys... Lee is not a "rip off" of anyone. He has been making songs like this since BEFORE IDOL. This song might sound somewhat similar to Home because it was produced by Drew Pearson, who is the same guy who wrote Home for Phillip Phillips. This is the kind of artist Lee is and always has been.

Both Philip Philips and Lee both sound like rip offs of Mumford and sons.
